About

Storied is a live music and storytelling experience uncovering the Jewish stories behind the songs you love.

Each show blends live music with compelling stories of the Jewish collaborators and their contributions to legendary bands and musical movements.

Our Mission

Storied brings to light often-overlooked Jewish stories of collaboration and influence across artists, genres, and cultural movements.

Through live performance, storytelling, and music, we create experiences that are joyful, inclusive, and deeply human — connecting audiences to identity, history, and each other.

Whether you’re deeply connected to Jewish life or simply love music, Storied is a space where those worlds meet.

Why it Matters

We believe the strongest response to antisemitism is living a loud and proud Jewish life.

At the same time, we’re facing real challenges around Jewish continuity. For many, Jewish identity has become rooted primarily in Holocaust education or shaped by the idea that “it’s hard to be a Jew.” When that’s the message, it’s harder for the next generation to stay connected.

October 7th amplified this tension. Much of today’s Jewish programming is, understandably, solemn and heavy as our community grapples with difficult realities. But for many, especially younger audiences, that weight can also create distance.

Storied offers something different.

It’s Jewish storytelling grounded in joy, collaboration, and cultural connection — bringing forward the stories that too often go untold, through music people already know and love.

Storied isn’t the answer to everything. But it is an answer — one that creates space for pride, connection, and a more expansive sense of Jewish identity.
